I watch as Fiona walks away. She seems irritated. "Come on, guys, let's go with Fiona. We have to find Jin."
"Okay, Steve can wait, I guess," says Amber. We get up to follow her. I start thinking about where Jin could be. Home sick? No. Away on vacation with no wi-fi? Hmmm.
"Maybe she's on a remote island with no wi-fi?" Myra shakes her head.
"Something feels wrong about this."
"Yeah, that's what I've been trying to say," Fiona mutters.
"It does feel strange. Jin wouldn't just... disappear." The bell drowns out my voice. "Rats!" I exclaim. [I've actually done this irl.] "We'll meet up after school, kay?"
"See you at the park," Amber says. Fiona still looks perplexed. I have a feeling that she's not going to her next class. I walk down the hallway quickly, noting that Britney's going the opposite direction, to the nurse. Britney's a brat and she hates me, so it's a relief that she won't be there to bother me in class.
