Meowie zowie it's the news!
If anyone is from WoFMB and wondering - I've noticed that something weird happened to the Wings of Fire forum today. I'm finding out what's happening there asap.
Sorry I haven't been around as much. As with all great changes, comes great responsibility (that's how that phrase goes, right?) I've been really busy on making tutorial videos, compiling all your feedback, and hanging out in-game to listen to your feedback in "person." So even if I don't answer, know that I am reading what you're writing and am compiling all the issues with accessing the game + all the other issues! Also, you can come find me in Home Base if you want to chat. I'm usually around morning EST, or will sometimes be able to come if I see myself summoned.
With that said, let's get to questions.
@Midwin and @Bracha it makes me so happy that you're talking about these classics :) Never read Les Misérables, just have seen it as a play. I find it really difficult to finish incredibly long books, it's hard to keep focused, but I try! These aren't classic classics but have either of you read A Wrinkle in Time or Golden Compass?
@Bracha That's amazing! Congratulations!! That must feel so cool.
Also, in a way this is kind of like moving from one side of the country to another. It's really hard and you lose a lot of the things you grew up with or are used to. I hope that the new home ends up feeling just as comfortable, if not more so, given that I'll be able to do a lot more for you all there with the filter and events and everything.
@Catte I'm around! I'm always around.... heh. Just not always able to post.
It's been so long since you had a prompt...not sure if it's still something you'll want to do but I'll keep making them for you just in case!
It's the end of the universe. The planets begin to implode, sucking up all matter surrounding them into themselves and sputtering out of existence. You and your compatriots managed to escape just in time. You're fleeing through space in the oldest interdimensionary transport device you've ever seen. It was the only one left, and makes a ton of weird, creaking noises, but hey - you're alive. You all look at each other. This is it. You have to dimension shift now, or it'll be too late. You can feel your spacecraft start to whine as you keep pushing it to resist the gravitational pull of a thousand black holes. As a team, you flip all the necessary switchs, ignore all the warnings, and press the Big Red Button that says to push "only in an emergency." Here we go, a whole new future you think to yourself, as your spacecraft manages to rip open space-time portal. Everything around you turns blinding white.
I just recommend browsing through and reading farewell posts if you have the emotional energy for that. I also recommend sharing your own memories, I'm sure others would appreciate seeing them.
