I like the series. Still do, but to me it gets worse every installment. My favorite characters are Dex and Tiergan and they don't get the attention they deserve. I was really surprised that the last book had so much of them. The books focus so much on Keefe who is one of my least favorite characters of all time. He's just so annoying and unrealistic (mostly in his dialogue which makes me cringe). Lots of those series have that book where nothing much happens and the second to last installment was like that. But this last book was such a disappointment for me because nothing happened and it's like Shannon used her characters dialogue to make excuses for why nothing was happening. I was expecting something to happen relationship wise (Sophie no longer being oblivious to the love triangle/square). But nothing except for it no longer being a square. And then a female version of Keefe comes in. I feel like either Shannon doesn't know what to do next or she just wrote a book to make money off it not caring about the overall plot and development. For me the series went downhill when all she did was focus on Keefe and was no longer paying attention to anyone else. Even sacrificing Sophie's development. My favorite things about the last book were Dex, Tiergan, and the absence of Keefe for a good amount of the book. Also Sophie finally standing up to Keefe. I'm not trying to rain on your parade or anything, and I'm glad that you like the series. I've just seen it enough times in a series to know when an author is losing quality and/or interest and is just doing it for the money and/or to finish the series. Did you like the last book? I'm Monica by the way, nice to meet you! I hope I don't come off as rude or anything, I just haven't talked to anyone about the series directly since the last book and I'm curious to know your opinion.
