Heyo, Krista here bringing you a question that I'm sure a lot of you have asked. Or, more accurately, a number of questions.

First off, I'll give a brief explanation as to why I am about to ask you this question. The reason for my addressing today can simply be labeled "The Dream Project", a writing venture I've decided to embark on, to practice my writing skills and develop the ones I don't quite have down.

So the question I bring before you, my fellow readers, is this: What is your dream book?

Of course, this question encompasses more areas than you might first think. What I'm really saying is "What do you look for in a book? What kind of things make you just glow when you read them? What draws you to a character and makes you wish they were really? What things could you do without? What kind of situations do you wish the characters would handle better? What kind of villain do you just love? Which character do you always want to be? How would you handle yourself, if you were lost in another world? What do you want to get from a book? What do you think reading is really about?" and much much more.

If you can find it in you to answer these questions, or any others that apply, it would be greatly appreciated.

Looking forward to reading your responses!

                       ~Krista~

To answer the villain question, a villain who you can get a few laughs from and sometimes does acts of kindness and actually has a believable motivation to be evil and isnt very evil, but still evil enough the mc wants to stop them

Thanks for the input, Ocean! I'll be sure to have that type of villain (always one of my faves).

I'd be looking for a book with well developed characters, good villains, a good plot, and occasional plot twist.

Well, to answer the question of ' What do you want to get from a book? ', I would say I would want to get a sense of satisfaction . Or understanding (like in the end where you go, "Oh! This makes sense"). Or maybe both. I don't know. I'm not too good with explaining these kinds of things.

A PROUD LUCIAN!

If you ask me how I am, there are three default answers; fine, good or eh.

1. What do you look for in a book?

I think the most important thing for me is character development and a strong plot.

2. What kind of things make you just glow when you read them?

Moments of deep friendship. Also poetic moments.

3. What draws you to a character and makes you wish they were really?

I'm drawn to all sorts of characters. At the end of the day they have two things in common. 1. They try to do the right thing. 2. They're conscious of those around them. Either they are those two things, or they're on the road to becoming them.

4. What things could you do without?

Unnecessary drama (by that I mean it's so obvious that the writers think we can't live without it, and it comes out of nowhere). Love triangles. A character's existence revolving around their love life and/or love triangle.

5. What kind of situations do you wish the characters would handle better?

Really dangerous situations. Usually they don't see what's right in front of them. But who can blame them?

6. What kind of villain do you just love?

Honestly I've never really loved a villain for who they are. I more jsut love how the actor/actress portrays them. I don't like cartoony and one dimensional villains. I like unsettling villains who are not totally crazy. Like Missy from Doctor Who and Aida from Agents of Shield. They're both amazingly acted and written.

7. Which character do you always want to be?

There are so many characters who I would like to be. I can't think of just one. I've always more just wanted to be friends with them instead of be them though.

8. How would you handle yourself, if you were lost in another world?

I would try to stay calm. Find shelter and good. Blend in. Then probably eventually go to authorities if I thought they could be trusted. But then they would think I was crazy......

9. What do you want to get from a book?

I want to get from a book characters that I'll always remember. I like books that illuminate and show things I would never have thought of.

10.  What do you think reading is really about?

It's about being shown the world and who we are. Seeing things from different perspectives, and being shown the lies and truths in our own world.
