Dawn (sapphire i changed her name sion to dawn)
I had entered Lily's room without her permission, she looked like she didn't mind, so, I thought why not save the awkwardness, and it worked out. "Ok, then" she said,
"Go sleep on the bed, I'll sleep on the floor" "Are you sure?" I asked hesitantly. I had just entered her room without her saying yes, why make it so I stretch out herhospitality, and have to owe her a favour. "Yeah, I'm sure." "Ok, thanks so much, I haven't had a warm bed to sleep in a while!"I said gratefully. "While your at it, take a shower", "Will do" I entered the shower and let it soak my hair, I put it in a bun to let it dry and put on some new sweatpants. I went back into the room and crashed on the bed, and slept. Next thing, it was morning, the sun was shining and I completely forgot why I was here. Groaning, I got up and washed my face.Lily was still sleeping. I went down into the kitchen and saw Alex frying some burgers with his bare hand. I stood around for a couple minutes and sighed, I tried my power, mind reading, I tried to read his mind and I failed. Of course I did. "Hey" he said. Then, I realized I was staring at him. He put on a goofy smile, "Want some cereal?" "Yeah, thanks!"He gave me some, and I shoved it my mouth."Ok, Alex" I said after I finished my food "So, what's your elemental power?, Fire? Warmth?"
"Something like that" he replied. "What's yours?"he asked. "Well, apparently, it's supposed to be mind reading, I read my first mind with sensei, but it never worked again, it turned of right after that, it happened a couple of weeks ago, and I wanted to tell sensei, so, I came here." "Wait, so you can read my mind," he looked worried. "Well, maybe, for all I know, I could just have good sensing about what people can think, mind reading is mostly useless." "No, you can easily win in battle,by reading someones mind, let's say they are about to slash a sword at you, you can easily deflect it back" he said. "I never thought about it that way!" I perked up.
I got up, thanked him for the breakfast and left to practice.
