I don't like my name at all. With the title of "Instructor", it's just too much to say. And my name sounds like the name of a British author from the 1800s, not the name of a martial arts teacher. (I have no problem with British authors from the 1800s, it's just that I don't think my name fits me.) I mean, it's a good name for an author, which I want to be, but not for an author who's also a taekwondo instructor.
The only problem is . . . how will I get everyone to stop calling me by my real name? I mean, new students won't know, but people who've been at the school for a long time will probably still call me by my real name. And how will I get used to it? It's weird to be called a different name than the name you've been hearing your entire life.
