I need to find my book... I GOT IT!!!!! OK GET READY!!!
Natalie heard Dan hang up, and she put the phone back. "What did Daniel say?" asked Ian.
"I got him to come!"
Ian raised his voice, mimicking his sister.
"You said nothing about ME!"
Natalie felt her cheeks go red.
"SHUT UP!" she snapped.
"Natlaie and Daniel sitting in a tree-"
"Keep it up, and i'll send your diary to Amy and Dan!"
Ian clammed up and raced upstairs, finding a new hiding spot for his journel. Natalie smiled. This was going to be the best christmas ever!
Meanwhile, Nellie was unconvinced, and Amy and Dan were trying to make her change her mind.
"Nuh, uh, no way!" said Nellie to Amy.
"Why not?" asked an exasperated Dan. Nellie raised her eyebrows.
"Since when have you been so eager to go there?" Dan mumbled something that Nellie couldn't quite hear, when Amy spoke up.
"Nellie, please! We haven't been there since the family reunion, and this would be time to spend with them!"
"Fine. You better start packing." Dan fist bumped the air, and Amy gave her a hug.
"Your welcome. I hope..."
Amy hadn't been this nervous since the reunion after the hunt. "Keep it together Amy!" ,she thought to herself. Dan was nervous too. Amy could tell by the way he babbled on about useless facts. Also, his jokes seemed to be getting worse by the minute.
"Hey, Amy, where do superheros get their grocieries?"
"Ha. Ha." Said Amy, with as much sarcasm as she could handle. Nellie glanced at him through the mirror and asked.
"Are you sure you don't need a Doctor Dan?"
"I'm perfectly fine Nellie!" snapped Dan.
"Oh, really?" Nellie challenged.
"Bad joked, nervousness, and above all, EAGER TO GO TO THE KABRA MANSION!!!!!"
Dan frowned. Amy could see the wheels turning in his head, searching for a believable lie.
