*sighs* It does have heroes and villains, even from the start. Mike Peterson and Skye (now Daisy) for example, and the roster only grew as seasons passed (Hunter, Cal, Bobbi, Yo-Yo, Mace, etc.). They might not be huge names (except Bobbi, Robbie, Cal, and Daisy), but they're there. I wish more people saw that.
Speaking of which, did you notice something? People always tell new watchers of the show that the first half of the season (or until Turn, Turn, Turn) is bad/extremely slow. Those new people? When most of them watch it, they have no idea why people think it's so bad. I've even seen a few proclaim SHIELD as one of their favorite shows by the end of 1x06 (FZZT), well before the Ward twist.
It's a matter of perception. When it originally aired, people expected the television equivalent of Avengers. These new fans, they don't think that and quickly fall in love with the show. One of the new fans I've seen even said it was his number two show of all time (after Doctor Who, which he is obsessed with).
The sound and visuals both speed up. No, it does not become high pitched, though that would be funny.
IKR? They made a big deal about how Iris has to choose to save one of them, but she didn't even have to.
How do Snapchat filters work? I don't have one, so I'm always confused when people talk about them.
Do you like Wally a lot more this season too? I was mostly indifferent on him (though the acting can be weak at times), but I've actually loved him ever since it got revealed he can speak Japanese. They're actually giving little pieces of information on Wally, building him as a character! Apparently, that starfish he fought when he was away? That's from an actual comic book. Oh, and the fight scene at the wedding was great! The lighter tone on The Flash might not be working out for most of the people or the plot, but it does for him.
Any villain Barry took away when in civilian clothes (at least three by now, from what I remember in the show), anyone in the park when he used his super speed to get Diggle for the double wedding, I think there was a cop at the station when people tried to kill him and Joe, and a few other times. His identity shouldn't be a secret at all.
Good question! Also, how did Cecile know all the controls, including the one for the magnet?
I feel no pity in cheering him on, he hurts his fair share of people, but I like his endgame. Expanding the human mind is an interesting and different goal. And Barry's a hypocrite. If word ever got to government officials about how much Flashpoint changed people's lives, he'd be in Iron Heights or an even worse facility.
And actually, you're talking about Abra Kadabra. He said Savitar was his greatest enemy and that Thawne, Zoom, and DeVoe couldn't break him like Savitar did.
