Hi! I'm back! Sorry for the wait!
But I'm here now and I will write a PoV.
"Spare me from that!" I got up and headed deep into the tunnel on my own.
Ever since I lost to that soldier and failing to slay the snake I've been feeling useless. I thought that all my training back home and the Crysis would have helped me in this journey and yet everyone is better than me. At everything!
Without paying attention I kept heading randomly deeper into the tunnel until I hit my head on something metalic.
I rubbed the part of my head which was in pain, troubled about what I had hit.
Torches that were hanging from the walls suddenly all lit up and I was able to see some sort of armor.
It was all silver and shiny which was weird because you would expect things to be a lot dustier in a place like this.
Behind the armor was a huge pair of double doors which should lead into the treasure room with the Light Crysis.
I tried to walk past the armor and open the gate but with a swift movement the armor sprung to life and placed its sword between me and the treasure room.
"If you want a duel then so be it." I drew my own sword and pointed it the empty armor's chest taking a battle stance.
The armor then did the same, waiting for me to make the first move.
I swiftly moved forward for a stabbing attack but the armor simply blocked it with the flat side of its sword.
As fast as I could I sliced upward trying to remove the helm but the armor simply stepped back, allowing my sword to cut air.
I then went for a spinning slice followed by swift attacks which were also easily deflected.
The armor then finally countered, barely missing a stab on my face.
Frustrated by the fact that I couldn't land a single hit on a simple armor I activated my Crysis making my attack faster and stronger.
I kept striking in rage but even then the armor was able to stop every one of my attacks.
"AAAAAARG!" I screamed in anger, the flames surrounding my sword growing stronger than ever, I went for a single powerful attack which was supposed to be able to cut through steel.
My final attempt to finish this ended in failure as the armor simply dodged my attack and then went to counter attack.
I tried to block the attack but my arm along with my sword were forced up from the force of the armor's attack.
The ghost soldier then went for a slice at the stomach which I could not block nor avoid.
This would have been the end if Krista hadn't been there to block the sword, then disarm the armor and finally destroy it with an attack of her Crysis-powered sword.
"Good thing I arrived just in time." Krista said.
"I...I can't..." I looked away in anger.
"Huh?" She looked at me in question.
"I can't take any more!" I shouted and threw my sword on the floor. "I'm useless. I can't do anything. I've been trying to fight but every time I end up losing! It doesn't matter that I have a Crysis! It doesn't matter that I have years of training! It always ends the same with me the loser, always asking to be saved by someone else!"
Krista remained silent for a while but after a few moments she spoke. "You can give up if you want."
I was expecting some kind of encouragement but somehow her words made me want to not give up and show her that I could do this.
"You may not be strong enough now but you could get strong if you keep trying." Krista said. "But...Since you give up I guess that's never going to happen." She said and was about to go back and join the others when I grabbed her shoulder.
"Thank you." I told her and went to pick up my sword before going back to the others and tell them that we found the treasure room.
